Download Firmware
Before You Start

Firmware updates are not required for most users. Only install this update if you are experiencing a specific issue, or Pixio support has recommended it.

Warning: Updating firmware incorrectly or interrupting the process may cause issues. Follow all steps carefully.

USB Drive Preparation
1
After clicking "Download Firmware," a file named MERGE.bin will download. Use this file for the firmware update.
2
To perform the software update via USB, first format the USB memory drive to FAT32.
3
When performing the update, make sure that only one BIN file (.bin) is saved in the root directory of the USB drive.
4
Safely eject the USB from your computer before connecting it to the monitor.
Performing the Update
1
Insert the USB drive into the USB port on the back of the monitor.
2
The monitor will detect the firmware and begin the update process. Follow any on-screen prompts.
3
Do not turn off the product until the update is complete. Prevent the update from any interruption as far as possible. In general, the product returns to the previous version if an update is interrupted.
4
Once complete, remove the USB drive. The monitor will return to normal operation.

Note: It is not a monitor-related problem if the screen blinks green during a USB update with a DVI-HDMI converter connected. The software update is performed normally. Wait until the update is complete.
