Pixio Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 6/18/2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Pixio Gaming ("Pixio," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit or make a purchase from pixiogaming.com (the "Site"). This Policy applies to customers and visitors in the United States and Canada.
Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this as "Device Information."
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- Cookies are data files placed on your device, often including an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- Log files track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- Web beacons, tags, and pixels are electronic files used to record how you browse the Site.
When you register, make a purchase, or attempt to make a purchase, we collect information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number. We do not directly collect or store full card numbers — only confirmation/transaction data from our processor. We refer to this as "Order Information."
When you register a product, submit a warranty or RMA request, or contact customer support, we collect information such as your name, email address, order or serial number, product model, and the details of your inquiry or claim. We refer to this as "Registration and Support Information."
If you sign up for email or SMS marketing, we collect your email address and/or phone number, along with your communication preferences and consent records. We refer to this as "Marketing Communication Information."
When we refer to "Personal Information" in this Policy, we mean Device Information, Order Information, Registration and Support Information, and Marketing Communication Information, collectively.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use Order Information to fulfill orders placed through the Site, including processing payments, arranging shipping, and providing invoices and order confirmations. We also use Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen orders for potential risk or fraud;
- Process product registrations and warranty/RMA claims; and
- When consistent with the preferences you've shared with us, provide information or advertising about our products or services.
We use Device Information to help screen for potential risk and fraud, and to improve and optimize the Site, including generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site and assessing our marketing campaigns.
We use Registration and Support Information to process your product registration or support request, validate warranty eligibility, and improve our customer service operations.
We use Marketing Communication Information to send you the emails and/or text messages you've consented to receive, and to manage your preferences and opt-outs.
How We Use Automated Tools and Artificial Intelligence
We use automated tools and artificial intelligence ("AI") to help us operate more efficiently and provide a better customer experience:
- Customer support chatbots. We use AI-assisted tools to help answer common questions, route support and warranty requests, and draft responses to your inquiries. A member of our team reviews and handles requests the chatbot can't resolve, and you can always ask to speak with a person.
- Personalization. We use automated tools to personalize product recommendations, email and SMS content, and on-site experience based on your browsing and purchase history.
- Registration and support ticket processing. We use automated tools to help validate, organize, and detect anomalies in product registration and support ticket data (for example, matching a submitted model name to the correct product, or flagging information that looks incomplete or inconsistent). These tools assist our team — they do not make final decisions about your registration, warranty eligibility, or RMA claim without review by a person.
- Partner and influencer vetting. We use automated tools to help evaluate prospective influencers, affiliates, and marketing partners using publicly available information, such as social media profiles and engagement metrics. This process does not use our customers' personal information and informs, but does not replace, our team's partnership decisions.
We do not use AI or automated tools to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects without meaningful human involvement. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide any notice required by applicable law.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We share Personal Information with third-party service providers who help us operate our business.
These providers process Personal Information on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own independent purposes.
We may also share Personal Information to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests (such as a subpoena or search warrant), protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
As described above, we may use your Personal Information to provide targeted advertising or marketing communications.
You can opt out of targeted advertising and marketing communications by unsubscribing or contacting us at cs@pixiogaming.com.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the following rights regarding your Personal Information:
- Right to know what Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, and sell/share, and to request a copy of it.
- Right to delete Personal Information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate Personal Information.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information.
- Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories of Personal Information described above and disclosed them to the service providers listed in "Sharing Your Personal Information" for the business purposes described in this Policy. We do not sell Personal Information for money. Depending on how your browsing data is used for advertising, some of that activity may be considered "sharing" under the CCPA — to opt out, use the methods below.
To exercise your rights: Email us at cs@pixiogaming.com with your request. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Automated decision-making: As described above, we do not currently use AI or automated tools to make "significant decisions" about California consumers as defined under California law (e.g., decisions related to financial services, housing, employment, education, or healthcare). If this changes, we will provide the notice, access, and opt-out rights required by law at that time.
Canada: Additional Disclosures
If you are located in Canada, the following applies in addition to the rest of this Policy.
Federal (PIPEDA). We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in our collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information. We collect Personal Information only for the purposes identified in this Policy, limit our use and retention to those purposes, and will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada in the event of a breach posing a real risk of significant harm, as required by law. Our designated Privacy Officer for Canada is reachable at cs@pixiogaming.com.
Quebec. If you are a Quebec resident, Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25) also applies. In addition to the rights above, you have the right to be informed when a decision about you is based exclusively on automated processing, and to request that a member of our team review that decision and explain the factors involved. We obtain consent before collecting or using sensitive personal information, and you may contact our designated privacy officer (above) with any privacy-related question or complaint.
Email and SMS marketing (CASL). For recipients in Canada, we send marketing emails and text messages only with your consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing message we send identifies us, provides our contact information, and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism, which we honor within 10 business days. We keep records of how and when consent was given. If your consent was based on an existing purchase or inquiry rather than an explicit opt-in, that consent may expire over time under CASL — we may ask you to reconfirm your preferences periodically.
Do Not Track
Please note that we do not alter our Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain Order Information, Registration and Support Information, and Marketing Communication Information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, satisfy legal or accounting requirements, and resolve disputes, after which we securely delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion at any time, subject to the exceptions described above.
Minors
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 16.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated Policy on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Various websites may be linked to from this Site. If you link to another site, your privacy depends on that site's policy. We strongly urge you to check their privacy policy.
