Update Instructions

Before updating:

Ensure the firmware you're downloading is for your model only. Updating with the wrong firmware will brick the monitor and it will no longer work. This will void the warranty. We are not liable for installing the wrong firmware for your monitor. Please contact us directly if you do not see a firmware update for your model.

PX278 Wave (PX278WAVE)

  • Fixed an issue that did not pass the latest version of AMD DSAT test.
  • Modified Factory Mode's Burn-in function default from 'On' to 'Off'
  • Modified the displayed 'Normal' color temperature in Factory Mode from '5700' to '7500'.
  • The Flicker-Free function has been removed from the OSD menu, but it remains permanently ON and activated.
  • Modified text layout in the information in Factory Mode & Protection Mode.

PX277 Pro (PX277PRO)

  • DDC/CI Function added
  • OverDrive now has 4 options: Balance, Low, Middle, and High
  • Fixed HDR Sharpness bug

MPRT (Motion Picture Response Time)

  • DDC/CI is ON and MPRT is ON, DDC/CI grayscale processing is automatically enabled.
  • MPRT is turned OFF, DDC/CI is automatically re-enabled.

Note: MPRT is automatically disabled when brightness is adjusted while MPRT is active. This is expected behavior based on current OSD logic.

HDR (High Dynamic Range)

  • With DDC/CI ON and HDR ON, the following settings are grayed out and unadjustable via the OSD:

- Brightness
- Contrast
- Black Equalizer

  • Even if changes are made through DDC/CI software, they will not reflect on the OSD interface.

DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio)

  • DDC/CI ON and DCR ON, both Brightness and Contrast become grayed out in software.
  • RGB settings can still be adjusted normally.

Preset Modes & DDC/CI

  • User), the OSD will automatically switch back to the User preset.

Overdrive Behavior

  • Overdrive is set to “Balance”:
  • At refresh rates below 120Hz, it behaves the same as Overdrive Off.
  • At refresh rates above 120Hz, it functions like Overdrive Low.

‾‾‾ To perform software update by using a USB memory, first format the USB memory to FAT32.
‾‾‾  When performing update, make sure that only one BIN file (.bin) is saved in the root directory.
‾‾‾ If theNo update files found on your USB device. Please check your USB device and try again.message is display, this is probably due to the following reasons. 
   ‾ A USB memory is not connected to the USB port.
   ‾ The files in the connected USB memory are not compatible formats.
   ‾ There are no valid update files found in the connected USB memory. (There are no update files saved in the memory or the file names are incorrect.)
‾‾‾ Do not turn off the product until the update is complete. And prevent the updating from any interruption as far as possible. In general, the product returns to the previous version if an update is interrupted. 
‾‾‾ It is not a monitor-related problem because the screen may blink in green during USB update with a DVI-HDMI converter connected. The software update is performed normally. Accordingly, wait until the update is complete.
